About the Event

This community cook out is in partnership with UTK Downtown Gallery, Dr. Enkeshi El-Amin & Good Black Art, join us for a celebration of the collaborative exhibition, The Bottom: Stories from the Neighborhood

Delving into life in the neighborhood beyond its destruction, the exhibition is up until 8/3 and features works by Ahmad George and Erin LeAnn Mitchell, in addition to curated selections by Beauford and Joseph Delaney and Ruth Cobb Brice from the permanent collections of the Ewing Gallery of Art + Architecture and borrowed works from the Beauford Delaney Estate and the Beck Cultural Exchange Center to honor those visual artists who came before.
